I joined iACT in January of 2011 just after we officially changed the name from Austin Area Interreligious Ministries to Interfaith Action of Central Texas. Everything was in transition and my early time was filled with updating our communications and print materials as well as design a new website. We were also in the Tillery location which had served iACT well however the move to the new offices within walking distance from the MLK train station is almost dreamlike! I see us able to reach out beyond Texas, even if indirectly, helping people and organizations find peace and understanding with different cultures and religions. To make a difference in the world and my local community. My personal mission is to make a positive impact on the world and with iACT we do just that!

Role Models: Edward James Olmos because of his exceptional acting ability and his social activism and concern for the world and people. Hayao Miyazaki due to the depth of his writing and magic of his films.
