Bernice

Bernice is a widow and speaks of her husband often. Originally from Cedar Creek (near Bastrop) she still attends her childhood church. Her minister actually sends a bus to take her to the services every Sunday. Her neighborhood is a mix of elderly people and newly arrived young professionals. Bernice is loved by all. Her winning smile and warm personality draw everyone into her stories. She still mows her own yard and loves tending her vegetable garden and flowers.
