The 2011 Hope Awards

The 2011 Hope Awards

“Hope is not a dream, but a way of making dreams become reality.”
Cardinal L. J. Suenens

The Annual Hope Awards Gala and fundraiser will soon be a reality and iACT is humbled by the opportunity we have to honor three inspiring Central Texans.

The 2011 Hope Award winners are:

Bishop John McCarthy, who led the Catholic Diocese of Austin for many years; singer-songwriter Sara Hickman, who is the Official State Musician of Texas; and Rev. Joseph C. Parker, Jr. of David Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, a pioneering community leader and social activist.
