I have lived in Austin for 25 years.
How long have you volunteered with iACT?
I just started volunteering with iACT this summer. Previously, I volunteered with RST (Refugee Services of Texas).
What made you want to volunteer with iACT?
I am a teacher of teenagers, so working with youth just speaks to me — and I like to work with young people.
What do you enjoy most about working with iACT?
I enjoy interacting with people from all different backgrounds and cultures.
Why would you encourage others to do similar volunteer work with iACT?
I would encourage others to volunteer too. Normally, I get just as much out of it as the people I’m able to help.
