I have lived in Austin for the past five years.
What do you do at iACT?
I am a student intern here at iACT and getting my masters in Social Work at UT Austin.
What’s the most challenging thing about the work you do at iACT?
The most challenging thing about the work I do is balancing both my responsibilities with iACT and my course load with my university studies.
What’s the most rewarding thing about the work you do at iACT?
The most rewarding thing about the work I do at iACT is contributing to an organization that is responsible for providing support and impacting the lives of refugees in the Austin area. iACT is an organization with a mission I believe in and enjoy understanding and learning how I can make an impact and learn more about the populations we serve.
Why would you encourage others to support the work of iACT?
I would encourage others to support the work of iACT because the organization provides support to refugees in the community. By providing this support you can help iACT provide the necessary support and resources for our new neighbors to integrate into the community.
