Client Stories: Christopher Estrada
Originally from Austin, Mr. Estrada is a jack of all trades who worked several different jobs to support his family. Through Habitat for Humanity, Mr. Estrada built the home on the east side, and is proud of creating a safe place to raise his sons. As a single father (his youngest son starting high school this year), Mr. Estrada is proud of the work ethic each of his kids have. Mr. Estrada likes to sit on the front porch with his dog, and quickly after starting a conversation with him one can tell how kind and caring he is. When I first went to the Estrada home, green ribbons were hung all over his porch to honor the lives lost in the Hill Country floods. We are so excited to gather volunteers together to give Mr. Estrada’s home a fresh coat of paint during our upcoming Raise the Roof event in October!
