What’s the most challenging thing about the work you do at iACT?
iACT is a highly diverse workplace, which naturally entails exposure to various cultures. This diversity can sometimes lead to cultural misunderstandings or difficulties in navigating differing communication styles. While these challenges may initially present obstacles, iACT has taught me a valuable lesson: despite our cultural differences, we are all fundamentally human, united by a common desire for peace and respect.
What’s the most rewarding thing about the work you do at iACT?
The most fulfilling aspect of my work is the daily knowledge that my efforts, though seemingly small, contribute to the larger goal of creating a more just and equitable world, particularly for those in need, such as refugees. The ability to directly impact people’s lives and contribute to positive social change, often in areas that I am deeply passionate about, is deeply rewarding.
Doing Good Together
Why would you encourage others to support the work of iACT?
I urge everyone to support iACT, as I believe we all share a collective responsibility to aid those in need. Such support not only demonstrates compassion and solidarity but also allows individuals to actively contribute to causes they are passionate about. By donating or volunteering, one can make a tangible impact on the community and the world at large, fulfilling a personal desire to give back and improve the lives of others. Remember, even small acts of kindness can make a significant difference.
