iACT Needs Promoting and Fundraising Champions

With Amplify Austin under a week away we are looking for Promoting and Fundraising Champions to help Interfaith Action of Central Texas rock!

Next week, on the first day of spring we will “Crank Up The Giving” along with other nonprofits in Central Texas, to work together to raise $4 million in 24-hours. You can help us Amplify iACT make 2014 an even bigger success by donating online and sharing our posts between now and Amplify Austin which is March 20-21, 2014, from 6:00pm to 6:00pm.

Prizes are awarded every hour for the nonprofit that raises the highest dollar amount and/or has the most donors!

• $1,000 awarded to nonprofit with the most unique donors every hour during Amplify Austin
• $1,000 awarded to the nonprofit that raises the most dollars every hour during Amplify Austin

To help iACT win one of these bonus $1,000 prizes, we ask everyone to plan to donate on March 21st at 11:00am!

No one will hear about Amplify Austin unless we get the word out, so help us reach our goal by choosing to do one of the following:

1. Become a Fundraiser by setting up a personal Amplify iACT page with your own goal. Goals to consider would be $500, $250 or $100. Any amount helps, and you can get your friends to donate any amount they are comfortable with. For steps on how to create an account and sign up to be a Fundraiser, check our website.

2. Become a Promoter by helping us spread the word through your own social networks. No sign up or account is needed other than your social network you’re probably already a part of. Simply share at least 2 to 3 posts leading up to the event and then 5 posts during the day of the event from our Facebook or Twitter accounts. You can share them on any social sphere you call home: Google+, Tumblr, Instagram or even MySpace are all welcomed! Don’t forget hashtag #AmplifyATX and to tag iACT with @InterfaithTexas on Facebook or Twitter.
