iACT’s 39th Annual Interfaith Day of Thanks

iACT’s 39th Annual Interfaith Day of Thanks

Dear Friends,

We are excited to announce iACT’s 39th Annual Interfaith Day of Thanks Service and Celebration, which will take place on Sunday, November 19th at Huston-Tillotson University’s King-Seabrook Chapel (900 Chicon St, Austin, TX 78702). The interfaith service will be held from 3:00PM – 4:30PM, followed by a reception from 4:30PM – 6:00PM. This is the first time iACT’s Interfaith Day of Thanks will be hosted on a University Campus and on the only HBCU campus in Austin.

As we approach this special day, we are reminded of the profound power of gratitude. In a world that often focuses on our differences, it is in gratitude that we find our common ground. This annual event allows us to come together, regardless of our faith, to share in the simple yet profound act of giving thanks.

Each year, we are inspired by the wisdom, prayers, and reflections from various faith communities, united in their commitment to fostering love, compassion, and understanding. Together, we learn, grow, and bring our hearts and minds together.

So, I invite you to join us on this remarkable journey of gratitude, where we will build bridges of understanding and celebrate our shared values. Bring your open hearts and receptive spirits as we offer our thanks and prayers in unity. Let us embrace the diversity that makes our community rich, for it is in this diversity that we find our strength.

We encourage all to RSVP Here. We invite Faith Leaders who wish to participate in the procession to Register Here. If you represent a community organization and wish to register for an information table at this year’s celebration, please Register Here.

See you at iACT’s 39th Interfaith Day of Thanks Service, where we come together as one, celebrating the many paths to a thankful heart.

With love,

Simone Talma Flowers
